The Glass Ball

I want to be able to walk blithely,
Without the fear of being abducted.
I want to break free from these barriers
That chain me down to where I don’t want to be.

I want to love, without fearing
The stinging stares of those hollow eyes.
I want to lose myself in a maze of joy
Where no woe can take a peep.

I want to write without trembling
Under the blanket of confinements.
I want to sing the songs of my heart
Without bothering about the top drawer decrees.

I want to dance in the rain
Feeling it drench every inch of my soul.
I want to feel the bliss, like a penguin,
Enclosed in her perfect ball of snow.
